MVCS is a private, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. Gifts to Mountain View are tax deductible according to IRS regulations.

Fundraising
One of Mountain View Community School's major goals is to keep tuition affordable so that more families in Central Vermont may become part of the community. In order to sustain affordability, fund scholarships, support capital improvements, and cover unforeseen expenses, MVCS conducts regular fundraising efforts. Parents are expected to support and promote these events to their families and friends. Our regular fundraising events include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Winter Annual Giving direct mail campaign
• Spring Auction and Dinner or Reception
• Collection of Box Tops for Education
• MVCS Signature Clothing and Accessories
• Recycle ink cartridges

In addition to supporting these efforts, interested parents are encouraged to become involved in the implementation of these events or in getting new ones started. It's a great way to get to know other members of the Mountain View community, have fun, and experience a great sense of accomplishment.

Donations
MVCS welcomes charitable donations of books, other media, educational materials, and, of course, money. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by the IRS.
